Caspian Makan was the fiance of Neda Agha Soltan, who was murdered in the streets of Iran in June 20, 2009 for daring to speak up and protest against the primitive Iranian regime. After Neda’s murder, he was arrested by the Iranian secret police and sent to the Evin Prison for speaking out and telling Neda’s story to the world. Two months later, he managed to escape the country.
He continues to be an advocate for human rights and Neda’s memory.
