Gwang-il Yung

Gwang-il Yung is a North Korean defector working for Free the North Korean Gulag.

Yung was arrested in 1999 and tortured for three months as an accused spy, before making a forced confession and being sent to a labour camp.

Yung later escaped North Korea to become a speaker and activist, exposing the abuses of the Kim regime.
