Hadrien Ghomi is a French MP central to France’s response to the Iran Protests.
Ghomi is a first-term Member of Parliament from the governing Renaissance Party, who sits on the Foreign Affairs Committee and serves as party whip.
In wake of the mass protests following the death of Mahsa Amini in Iranian custody, Ghomi introduced a resolution in support of the Iranian protestors against the Islamic Republic in November 2022. It was approved unanimously.
Ghomi graduated from Sciences Po Lille in 2012 with a master’s degree in public policy. He also earned degrees in politics from the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS) and public law from Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
