Paula Schriefer was Vice President for Global Programs at Freedom House until 2012, when she became US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State.
Aside from Freedom House, Schriefer has also worked at the National Forum Foundation and the National Endowment for Democracy.
In 2014 Schriefer left the State Department to become President and CEO of the Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning.
